Hotel was right opposite Platinum Mall and Pantip plaza, good for shopping. BTS was quite a distance away, thou taxis are cheaps and easily available. Room was big and clean, beds have bolster and double pillows. Breakfast was fresh and have wide varieties. Pool and gym was a bit small thou.

There was 8 of us in the group and we wanted our rooms to be on the same floor. The first receptionist was rather unaccomodating saying that all the rooms cannot be on the same level due to the full booking of the hotel on that day. Another lady whom I suspect is the manager took over, she took the trouble to go through the hotel to try to accomodate our request, it took around half and hour and she was polite and friendly throughout. I will definitely come back to this hotel again, not only because it is just opposite my favourite shopping joint "Platinum", the good service is also a vital factor.

The hotel's location is superb, just opposite the Platinum mall. Rooms are great, very very clean and we got upgraded to Deluxe for staying 2 nights in a row......... Totally recommend it but prices are a little too steep as you can get other clean hotels nearby, costing only a fraction of this.

This has been my 8th stay in Amari Watergate for last 10 years. I appreciate new fresh interior of the hotel, although I liked the Thai look design before much more. The standard of the services is still on very high level, I will come again.

It is a fantastic hotel for the price, the facilities are great, best location for shoppers and tours alike, 5 minutes walk from the BTS sky train station. Bang in the middle of all the street shops for excellent bargains and deals! I stayed there twice in the Grand Deluxe rooms, 1 night, then on way back from Phuket: for 5 nights. I rated 3 in service because I had faced delays from housekeeping in fixing the hair dryer that my wife wanted to use. Then we had to wait a long time for bell captain to transfer my luggage from room when I was checking out! Whoever is about to book should try to get a hotel at the front for a better view. My room was at the back side and the view was not so pretty :P Will I go back there? Yes I will!! Do I recomend the hotel? Yes I DO!
