The Residence opened for business in September 2009. Prominently situated on the Padang, The Residence is located minutes away from the Central Business District, the Marina Bay shopping district and on the famed Singapore Grand Prix circuit. With its "Business Class in the City" slogan, along with first-class customer service, The Residence experience is distinctive as guests are granted a [+]visiting member status when they check in; allowing them to participate in the Club’s many recreational activities such as social dancing, billiards, bowling and many others. A boutique type of accommodation nestled at the third floor of Singapore Recreation Club, The Residence has 1 Premier Room, 2 Superior Rooms, 23 Deluxe Rooms, a meeting room, a function room and two outdoor function venues. The Residence is also the only accommodation in the city to feature an indoor heated pool, a bowling alley and a jackpot room. Each of our rooms feature a comfortable working desk, desk lamp, mini bar, a shower stall, bathroom amenities, individually controlled air-conditioning, security-enhanced key card access, in-room safe, bathrobe and bedroom slippers, flat screen LCD television with cable local and international television channels, iPod/iPhone docking stations, high-speed internet access, audio-visual portal, complimentary iron and ironing board (available upon request) and access to most of the club facilities such as the subterranean pool – the only underground, heated swimming pool in Singapore – or enjoy a work out in our spacious and well equipped gymnasium.
