Tagaytay is easily reached from Metro Manila via the Coastal Road or the South Superhighway. BLTB buses from Pasay, Metro Manila having a destination signboard of Nasugbu or Balayan ply the route passing Tagaytay City. If traveling by automobile take the South Superhighway (SSH.) The SSH offers the least traffic out of Metro Manila. From Manila take the Santa Rosa exit and turn right after paying the toll. Drive straight on until you get to the Tagaytay City market place, the entrance of Tagaytay City, just about 20 minutes from the Santa Rosa exit.
• A 5-hectare leisure park right beside Taal Vista Hotel. Kids and kids at heart will enjoy the fantastic rides and family-friendly ambiance high above Tagaytay.
Tagaytay Picnic Grove:
• Tagaytay's playground is the popular Picnic Grove. Huts line the gentle slopes. It is a prime location, providing the finest view of the volcano far below.
People's Park In The Sky:

Genuine Asiatravel.com guest review
It was not planned and my wife and I just decided to go to Tagaytay and check-in at Taal Vista. We really wanted to go to Baguio but due to its distance, we decided Tagaytay instead. Have been here several times but this time was exciting because we booked at Taal Vista Hotel through Asia Travel. It was more than 20 years ago that we booked at Taal Vista and its totally different from before. Hotel is well organized, courteous staff, delicious foods, clean rooms, well... everything okay.
I checked in with my 77-yr old mom and asked for a room closest to the restaurant. Probably because I booked my Superior Twin Room on Asiatravel and NOT directly with Taal Vista, we were sent to Room 204 in the older wing near the swimming pool. A bellman was nice to help my mom walk down the wet stairways leading to the room. No view outside the window. Just a hole dug out with ropes. It was just one night so we simply closed the drapes and not look out anymore. The a/c works very well, the beds are clean and comfy. Food in the dining room is average.
One stays in Taal Vista Hotel for the history and luxury. Views are spectacular (but note that not all rooms will have magnificent views). Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff are efficient and friendly. Cable tv is not so reliable since it is satellite tv. Wifi is not consistent throughout the hotel, prepared to be disappointed.
A lot can be said about the quality of food. Somehow, i expected more - a lot more.
Their room category is very deceiving. Got the lake view but its only not in front but just the lake view wing. Added for an upgrade
