Going to Sabang Beach takes a couple of hours drive from Manila to Batangas and one and a half hour of boat ride to get to Captn Greggs Dive Centre.
From Manila, there are several bus lines that can be taken going to Batangas. The trip will take three hours but could take as long as six hours depending on the traffic and weather. From there, one would have to take a ferry going to Puerto Galera.
Entry points to Puerto Galera vary according to where you want to set forth. Puerto Galera ferry boats from Batangas enter the island from Sabang Beach, Balatero, and Muelle. Deciding on which to board depends on where your accommodation is located. Of course, you would not want to be traveling long hours again to get to your resort.
Puerto Galera is an excellent destination for diving. All resorts have their basic diving or collaborate with diving schools. This island also offers lots of atmosphere and entertainment contrary to some islands of the Philippines who are very very quiet.
