| Fontana is more upscale than places we usually stay. The 2 bedroom villa came with maid's room complete with bathroom. Each villa is part of a duplex, and is like an American house. Each has a covered parking place, central aircon, a small kitchen, and comfortable furniture. There is a good TV, with cable channels in the living room. The villas have grass lawns, and they accept pets. Our dog loved all the grass to run around on and all the sidewalks for walks. It is a large development, and has the look of an American suburb.
The restaurant had excellent food, good wine, and outstanding service. We were celebrating my birthday, and the wait staff gracefully took care of every request and thought of things before we knew we needed them. They seemed genuinely excited for us to try the specialties of the house. For our party of 5, we had 2 servers full time, and a third helping them most of the time. The water park is very nice. It has several kids' areas that are sized for different ages. There are big and smaller slides, a lazy river, and a wave pool. It is a large park. The landscaping is beautiful. They do bring bus loads of people in for the casino, so if you pick the wrong time to check in or out, there can be a wait. They do something similar to "Time Share" and have a big sales office just off the lobby, but no one tried to give a sales pitch. If you are not interested, just don't go in the sales office. |
