Makati City may conjure images of a frenzied lifestyle, being haven for both business and entertainment, but nestled in its center is a place of serenity called the Y2 Residence Hotel. Adhering to the ancient Oriental philosophy of balance and harmony, the Y2 Residence Hotel offers the weary soul a distinctly serene and tranquil ambience even when it’s merely a few minutes away from the city’s Central Business District as well as several world-class shopping destinations and vibrant nightspots.
Yin-yang is the concept of two opposing but equal forces in a tight embrace to produce balance and harmony. Such is the philosophy behind the Y2 Residence Hotel. Step inside the hotel and what immediately catches the eyes is the artistic play of black and white that starts at the lobby and remains consistent throughout—in rooms, on walls, and furnishings. It is also the place to relax and find tranquility after a chaotic, crazy, and nerve-wracking day. Indeed the hotel serves as the gateway for the pursuit of both business and leisure.

The Y2 Residence Hotel is about 20-30 minutes by car from Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport. From Ninoy Aquino Avenue, turn left to NAIA Road and take the first right to Domestic Road. Proceed to take another right to Airport Road. Turn left to Aurora Boulevard and then turn right to EDSA. Keep going straight thru EDSA, passing thru Magallanes. Take the first left onto Antonio S. Arnaiz Avenue (Pasay Road), then take a right turn to Makati Avenue. Go straight, crossing Paseo de Roxas Street and then Gil Puyat (Buendia) Avenue. Turn left to Singian Street where Y2 Residence Hotel’s welcoming black and white façade greets you.
Y2 Residence Hotel puts guests right at the heart of the action, being only a 5- to 10-minute drive to any part of the Makati Central Business District, and a walking distance away from the nightlife in P. Burgos. For shopping, there is the Rockwell Power Plant Mall, which is five minutes by car, or Greenbelt, which is a mere 10-minute drive. Also nearby is Jupiter Street and its myriad of food establishments.

I would like to thank the recptionist Ms. Sharyline for the assistance and help to solve the difficulties. Sharyline is always smile and find a solution to problems occurred. I really appreciate Sharyline for her performance that exceeding my expectation.
Every things is good ..nice staff, location , service..fully Nightlife .. but noisy start from 6am n too much light in room .. mean so hard to sleep at day.
Good location, walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants. Taxi's are widely available. Hotel service is excellent, rooms are clean. Good value for money compared to older hotels in the same location. The only drawbacks is that since it is also close to the bars, live music can be loud and for some may find it difficult to sleep

Staff need to be trained a little more. Hotel is located close to the red light district so I don't recommend this for younger children. Strange room layout, don't think I will stay here again.
