Cebu hosts a number of historical landmarks including Magellan's Cross, the Mactan Shrine, the Fort San Pedro and a number of historical museums. Diving is also a must try activity with the different dive sites around Mactan. Cebu is also known to export some of the best furnitures, shell crafts and guitars. Local markets are a must visit as well.

The Moevenpick Resort was my wife and my last stay while in Cebu City for just 5 nights.. We definitely saved the best (of 3 different hotels)for last!! The amenities are all excellent, 5 star quality, with fantastic staff, all very friendly. One thing maybe lacking, if a longer stay guest, is the relative small size of the resort, compared to Shangri-La next door......
