Gran Prix Econotel 3 stars

The Gran Prix is an ideal place to stay for a short visit at a good price.The rooms are small but modern and clean.Good sized bathroom.There is a tv and free wi-fi.The staff are friendly and willing to help.The only draw back was no window in the room I had but for a short stay it was ok. It was situated in the city with plenty of amenities near by.

The hotel is relatively new and it shows in its rooms. The price per nights stay is reasonable. Free breakfast is @ Jollibee next door w/c is not too bad considering the hotel itself does not have any dinning area. I initially booked for only one night to try out the hotel. I extended my stay for another day before going out of the city for a couple of days. They raised the rate for my re-booking, explaining to me that the old rate that I got is no longer available. I then booked my last four days in Cebu City at this same hotel. It was after I have paid in advance for my last four days when I discovered that they posted a flyer in the ground floor offering a promo rate much lower the my original & re-booking rates. I got a confirmation from another front desk lady that the promo rate is still effective. Why was I charged a higher rate then? A hotel in California would be in big trouble if they did that. Not good at all.

GOOD LOCATION

Hotel location was very good, you could easily ride a cab or find the next jeep going to ayala or SM. Although the rooms are quite small, but of course you get what you pay for. So dont any expect luxus.

The room just suits the budget, a little bit small but quite modern with sufficient amenities. Robinson mall is just accross the street. Getting a taxi was easy to Ayala Center or SM Cebu only cost around PHP 50-60. Breakfast just enough since we love dine in Jolibee.

The hotel does not serve breakfast, instead issues coupon for breakfast at nearby Jollibee which I think is not appropriate for hotel guests. However, the staff is very accommodating.

The hotel was clean and the service attendants were friendly and accommodating.

Good: convenient location with some shopping centre nearby. not far away from the airport and pier. acceptable room outlook with standard furniture. Bad: No blanket, only a thin bedsheet with cold air-conditioner. badsheet, pillows and towels seems dirty. conclusion: Good enough for short stay with limited money.

The Hotel is a no smoker Hotel in the middle of Cebu near fuente. Its very Clean and the personnel is friendly. Maybe the rooms are abit small but functional and all things are ok. I would stay there again.

Basic, but I would say that is Value for Money, in a quiet central location in Cebu City. Do not expect any special luxury, but just a functional room with a hot shower and silent Air Conditionning. Please note that NOT all rooms seem to have a window.

All the front-dek staff (the most important) were so friendly and helpful. They try to fulfil your need.

Nice basic hotel. Free Wireless internet. Great location next to Robinson Mall and supermarket. Suite room large with big windows, fridge and silent remote controlled AC. 70 channel Sat TV.

The room is very clean although a bit small than average room size. Location is excellent for public transport and with plenty of shops within walking distance nearby.

Location and price were the main reasons I chose this hotel, and I was very satisfied in this regard. The room was somewhat smaller than I expected and the staff were not knowledgeable, but overall, I was happy with my choice.

The hotel is new so the rooms are still okay. If you look for a bed to sleep the hotel rates are okay. Good = Every room has internet connection (WiFi)! Service is good. The staff is friendly and like to help if there is a question or problem.
