The former home of the Swiss Ambassador to the Philippines has been lovingly re-born as a first class resort by the Clayton-Atanacio family who own and manage the hotel. The Boracay Hills motto is "you may arrive as strangers but you will leave as friends". The managing family welcome guests as if into their own home and continue to provide the highest level of service and quality. Boracay Hills is a small ten room resort, set in beautiful tropical gardens in the sleepy hamlet of Bantud. Its location away from the main hustle of Boracay ensures a quiet and peaceful retreat. The resort has everything you need to never leave, but for those that do the complimentary shuttle service will have you on the famous white beach in a matter of minutes. The easiest way to Boracay is to fly direct to Caticlan, which takes 36 minutes. The next best way is to fly to Kalibo Airport. From there you take a two-hour (2-hour) ride to Caticlan. For the ride between Kalibo and Caticlan, mini-vans, air-conditioned buses and rental vehicles run in both directions, direct from the airport and Caticlan Jetty Port. A short 10 minute boat ride from Caticlan Jetty Port will take you to Boracay's Cagban Jetty Port. Have the tricycle in the jetty port take you to Boracay Hills in Bantud, Manoc-Manoc. The resort is away from the main White Beach.
Sightseeing around the island can be compacted into one day or stretched out for several. A trip to Boracay is incomplete without visiting the famous volcanic formation, Willy’s Rock on White Beach. Bulabog Beach has a small butterfly garden exhibiting an interesting collection of wild butterflies and flowers. To escape the other beach dwellers, pretty Puka Shell Beach in the north is less crowded than the other, more frequented beaches. Some people come here for a quiet afternoon picnic with a small group of family or friends. In the northeast, the small white-sand Baling Hai Beach has an impressive view from the cliff top at sunset.
