Al Bandar is the heart of the resort and bustles with activity; it is stylishly modern and blissfully relaxing. Al Bandar guests will find all they need to make their holiday dreams come true. It is primarily oriented towards leisure guests, mainly couples and families with teenagers. It is equally convenient for business guests, with seven function rooms and a 1.056 square metre ballroom which ca[+]n accommodate 850 guests for conferences and cocktail receptions.

The Al Bandar Hotel is one of the three new hotels at Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissah Resort and Spa, Muscat. The name Al Bandar means The Town and the architecture of the hotel is inspired by old Muscat, featuring buildings of varying heights and a variety of ornate balconies.

Al Bandar hotel is the resort’s focal point, featuring eight food and beverage outlets and 11 meeting rooms, as well as the spectacular Barr Al Jissah Ballroom measuring 1,056 square metres and providing banquet-style seating for up to 700 people.

Child Policy: For families we recommend Al Waha and Al Bandar Hotels due to their proximity to the children’s facilities in the resort. Children under 12 stay free of charge when occupying the same room as their parents.
