Cameron Highlands, 1,524 metres above sea level, enjoys a cool climate with temperatures ranging from 10ºC to 20ºC. The scenic and lush road up to Cameron Highlands is dotted with fruit, flower and vegetable farms. While vendors, souvenir and handicraft stalls, and the Orang Asli settlement add to the enchantment, this picturesque setting is completed by flourishing tea plantations which blanket the undulating hills. Equatorial Cameron Highlands is nestled atop a hill at 1,628 metres above sea level. This lofty position accords the resort a magnificent view of lush green valleys, terraced and thriving farms, rolling hills and majestic mountains. Besides the splendid view, the altitude provides refreshingly cool and invigorating air, ensuring a pleasant spring-like climate throughout the year.
Getting there by Car
From Kuala Lumpur, drive north on the North South Highway. After an estimated 1 1/2 hours drive, take a left at the Tapah / Cameron Highlands turn off. Pass the toll booth and take a left at the traffic lights ahead. You are now on the one and only road up the hill. Drive on this road. You will reach Lata Iskandar waterfall on your left after approximately 30 - 40 minutes. A tip while driving up the hill is that should you be driving behind a heavy vehicle, wait for its signal to overtake. These are experienced drivers who will indicate to you the right moment to overtake their slow vehicle. The first town you will arrive is Ringlet. Just after the town is the electro hydro dam on your right. Continue on and after another 30 minutes, you will arrive at Tanah Rata which is the main administration town of Cameron Highlands. Carry on driving and you will hit Brinchang town. Drive through and after another 20 minutes, you will reach the Resort where you will need to take a right turn into the Resort driveway. The total drive journey from Kuala Lumpur to the resort should take you about a leisurely 3 1/2 hours.
A regular rail service from the Kuala Lumpur Main Railway Station will take you to Tapah Road Town Train Station. Get off and take the local bus to Tapah town bus station. There, you have a choice of taking the local bus ride to Cameron Highlands, all the way to Brinchang where you will hop off and take the local town taxi to the Resort. Or you may take a taxi from Tapah town which will then drive you directly to the Resort.

I booked 2 deluxe room, queue long when check in and almost wait for half and hour.
By the way, I felt supprise when I saw the rooms are very big with newly renovated and very clean condition, the view is very nice, hotel is very comfort and very reasonable price, breakfast is good and only cost RM25/pax.
I would recommended to stay the hotel rooms compare to the apartments unit which I stayed few years ago, especially for those come for honeymoon.
