| 4/5 | Mr. Morris, United Kingdom Jul 2012 | | Small rooms, but aren't they all in HK. The situation a little out of the way and at busy times it can be difficult to get taxis - so book if it is rush hour. However, a lot of good restaurants within walking distance, and the hotel rooms are nice, the view great and the standards pretty high for the very reasonable cost. So, in my view, a very good choice. The taxi issue the only possible drawback. | | RATING DETAILS | RECOMMENDATION | | Amenities 4 Rooms 4 Cleanliness 4 Location 2 Service 4 Value for Money 5 | Business People, Families, Gourmets, Tourists |

| 4/5 | Mr. John, United States Mar 2012 | | The Bishop Lei House is located in the mid-levels of Hong Kong overlooking the skyline and Victoria Harbor in the distance. The hotel is clean, professional and employs kind efficient folks at the check in counter.
Some rooms are very small, however, if you ask for an upgrade on an upper floor 19+ facing the skyline you will enjoy the view especially at night when the lights come on.
Bed is nicely appointed though a bit firm for my taste. The restaurant is good not terrific.
Bus transportation and taxi service is readily available just outside the front entrance of the hotel. The Botanical garden is a 5 minute walk.
I would stay again.

| 4/5 | Ms. Hayslip, United States Feb 2012 | | Second stay at Bishop's - great neighborhood, convenient location, pretty city view, immaculate rooms and cozy beds make it a perfect choice. Two issues to correct: frowing restaurant staff extremely unwelcoming - greeted with cold stares and nary a smile. Each morning, waiters snatched away my plate and utensils before I finished eating - quite a smack in the face, consistently giving the impression that I wasn't supposed to eat more than one plate of fruit and oatmeal of the "buffet" breakfast. Also the concierge never offers suggestions and is quick to act as if he's bothered. Desk staff varies - most are cordial and helpful, especially the women. Great bell boy - always a smile and helping hand. If he and the sweet young girls at the desk were managers all would be perfect at Bishop Lei! | | RATING DETAILS | RECOMMENDATION | | Amenities 4 Rooms 4 Cleanliness 5 Location 5 Service 3 Value for Money 5 | Arts and Culture, Business People, Single Ladies, Tourists | See more customer reviews for this hotel
