Cataract Pyramids Cairo 4 stars

The walls shimmer with cascading water, and provide a cool feeling on a hot Egyptian summer day. This is the lobby of the relatively new Cataract Pyramids hotel in Giza. It sparkles with brass fixtures and fountains, reminding you that this is one of any number of recent five star additions to Cairo. It bills itself as the first urban resort hotel in Egypt, but that is something of a stretch consi[+]dering hotels such as the Mena House. Yet this is another huge hotel complex, a growing breed in Egypt, and it does have a variety of entertainment and recreational facilities.
