We were already familiar with this property when we booked. What we had not expected was that our room, at 7.30pm, was 'not ready'. We were offered the choice, initially, of waiting 30mins for it to be 'ready' or we could take a room with twin beds or a 'smoking' room. It was not till we asked to see the manager that an upgrade suddenly became available. This is not the kind of Reception service that is acceptable. It was, however, the only glitch. The upgraded room was excellent. Breakfast was as it has always been at this property - average.
