Hotel Overview

Located near the People's Square, Shanghai's cultural, shopping and commercial center. The Bund and Yuyuan Garden (two major tourists attractions) are 3-5 kilometres from the hotel. The hotel is also near to Huai Hai Road - another major shopping area of Shanghai. Highway, tunnel and subway provide great convenience for transportation and travel. Several types of suites, furniture and fully equipped kitchen, personalized service, 24-hour security and satellite TV (NHK, CNN, ESPN, DW, etc). All create a comfortable and luxurious space. New Harbour Service Apartments is a GIFT to family vacationing in Shanghai. - Amenities: 2 spacious bedrooms, 1 bathroom cum toilet, spacious living room cum dining, 1 kitchen with microwave and free bottled mineral water. The hotel offers a heated swimming pool after a tiring day of walking plus a restaurant. If you want to cook, there is a great supermarket at the back of the hotel. - Service: We did not have any problem with the service! The staff manning the reception is efficient, friendly and try their best to answer our questions. The cleaning staff is equally efficient and friendly. - Eateries: You will never be hungry for there is local food everywhere for RMB2-5. We did not take breakfast in the hotel restaurant. Less than 3mins walk at the entrance of the Metro station, the kids got their fix of McDonalds. For Chinese Cantonese/Shanghainese cruise we recommend Shanghai No1 Restaurant at Nanjing Road (West). Great food, service and price! The Sichuan restaurant in the same building at Level 5 is also excellent – the food looks spicier than it taste! - Great location: 5mins walk from Nanjing street (shopping), 10mins from the Bund (historical), 3mins walk from People’s Park and Square where you can visit the Shanghai Museum (free entry) and Municipal and Urban Planning Museum.
