AIR CONDITIONING

Please set the switch of your air-conditioner to "low fan" for three minutes before turning the control switches to "low cool" or "high cool". At Lagen, please use the remote control provided in your room to adjust temperature.

BABY SITTING

Baby sitting services are available at an hourly or daily rate. Please make arrangements at the Front Desk in advance.

BATH AMENITIES

Guests are provided with bio-degradable soap, shampoo with conditioner and bath get. We would like to encourage the use of our bio-degradable bath amenities to help conserve the pristine evironment of El Nido.

Non-biodegradable components of soap, shampoo and conditioner may increase the alkalinity of water, killing the organism on which fish and other bigger animals depend.

CHECK OUT TIME

Check out time is at 7:00 am for hte 9:30 am flight. Guests who are departing on this flight are encouraged to settle their accounts the night before for their convenience. Guests leaving on the 5:00 pm flight are requested to check-out at 9:00 am to allow guests who arrive on the morning flight to check-in.

BOUTIQUE

Beach wear, souvenir items, film, personal care products and snacks are available at the boutique. It is located at the clubhouse of both resorts.

FLIGHT RE-CONFIRMATION

Please contact the Front Desk for assistance in reconfirming your domestic and international flights. El Nido to Manila flights need no reconfirmation.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

At Miniloc Island, the conference room can accommodate up to 20 persons, and at Lagen Island, up to 70 persons. Informal meetings can also be arranged in specific areas around the Resort. Arrangements can be made in advance through the Manila Sales Office or with the Front Desk at the Resort. Audio-visual equipment such as an overhead projector, flipchart, TV and VHS player is available.

FOREIGN EXCHANGE

US dollars, Hong Kong dollars, Australian dollars and Japanese yen notes only are accepted. Exchange rates are available at the Front Desk.

ELECTRICITY

220 volts and 60 cycles of electricity available 24 hours. Transformers are available at the Front Desk

GUEST ACTIVITY COORDINATOR

A guest activity coordinator will assist you with planning and designing your itinerary during your stay at the resort. Each evening he or she will coordinate with you regarding the schedule of activities for the next day. If we know your preferred activities, then, our Guest Activity Coordinator will be guided accordingly in preparing a most enjoyable holiday for you.

FOOD

International and local cuisine for buffet and snacks are available at the restaurant. At Lagen Island, an a la carte menu is also available. Vegetarian food and special dietary requirements may be requested upon arrival at the resort from the Front Desk.

LIBRARY

Books are available at the video and reading rooms of Miniloc Island. The library is located at the lower ground floor of the clubhouse at Lagen Island. Please inform the Front Desk if you wisht o borrow a book or magazine. Unreturned reading materials will be charged to your account.

To help serve you better, please fill up the Guest Questionnaire proved by your Guest Activity Coordinator.

LAUNDRY

Laundry can be done by hand or washing machine. A laundry list is available in your room.

LIFEVEST

Guests are required to wear life vest during boat transfers and all marine sports activities. Life vests are available at the Marine Sports Center.

MAIL SERVICES

Mail Service is available at the Front Desk. All mail is dispatched daily through the air transfers to Manila. Please give an allowance of two to three days in addition to the normal delivery time of your mail.

MARINE SPORTS FACILITIES

The resort has a complete line of scuba diving equipment and facilities. Divers must bring their C-card, logbook or proof of certification to dive. The resort strictly follow a "no c-card, no dive" policy .

Windsurfs, waterskis, dinghies, motorized bancas, kayaks, fishing gear and accessories are available at the Marine Sports Center upon request, and are subject to availability.

MASSAGE

Available upon request at Lagen. Please inquire with the Front Desk or Guest Activity Coordinator.

MEDICAL SERVICES

A nurse is on call at the clinic at both resorts. A doctor may also be called in for consultation and/or treatment, if necessary. First aid kits and oxygen resuscitator equipment are also available. Fees for consultation and medicine used will be charged accordingly. El Nido Resorts have also arranged medical services with the International SOS.

MINI BAR

For your convenience, a mini-bar is available in your cottage. Please fill up the mini bar form upon consumption and Housekeeping will collect them daily.

SERVICE CHARGE AND GOVERNMENT TAX

Service charge is 10% and value added tax is 10% on rooms, food and beverages. Boutique items are charged 10% VAT.

MOVIE VIEWING

The Resorts have a variety of VHS tapes in the video room. This is located at the garden area of Miniloc Island, and at the lower ground floor of the clubhouse at Lagen Island.

SETTLING OF ACCOUNTS

Payment may be made in cash, American Express, traveller's cheques or credit cards. Currencies accepted are Philippine peso, US dollar, HongKong dollar, Australian dollar and Japanese yen only. Please present credit card upon check-in to avoid delays in verification. For early morning departures, please settle your account the night before. For mid-day or afternoon flights, please settle your account two hours before check-out.

RESTAURANT

All meals are served at the clubhouse, buffet style. At Lagen Island, an a la carte menu is available. Breakfast is served from 6:45 am to 9:00 am, lunch at 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm and dinner from 7:00 pm to 9:00pom.

SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX

Safety deposit boxes are available at the Front Desk.

TRANSFER SCHEDULES

The transfer boat leaves the Resort at 7:30 am for the 9:30 am flight, 11:30 am for the 1:30 pm flight and at 3:00 pm for the 5:00 pm flight. This is necessary to avoid delays due to the unpredictable weather. Please leave your bags outside your room 30 minutes before departure from the Resort, and our housekeeping staff will collect them.

SWIMMING POOL

A 25 x 12 meter swimming pool with a depth of 4 feet is located in front of the clubhouse at Lagen Island. The pool is open from 6:00 am to 7:00 pm. There is no lifeguard provided, so please take all the necessary precautions. The resort will not be liable for any injuries or accidents.

Domestic and International calls ma be made from your room telephone in Lagen Island. At Miniloc Island, Domestic and International calls may be made at the Front Desk.

WAKE UP CALLS

Please call the Front Desk to schedule your wake up call. You may use the automatic wake-up call feature of your telephone. Please refer to the directory by your phone.

TOWELS

For environmental purposes, we request your cooperation by putting used towels in the hamper only when they need to be changed. This will minimize the use of precious water, as well as lessen the need for detergent, which pollutes the seas.

WATER

Water from the faucet is potable. Mineral water is also available in the mini-bar inside all cottages. Please help us conserve water, as it is a valuable resource on the island.
