Description and Location

The New Cataract Hotel was inaugurated in 1963 and renovated in 1980 as an annex to the famous Old Cataract Hotel of Aswan., merging the new with the contrasting old sister hotel. The hotel is set in the exotic gardens of the Old Cataract and sharing many of its facilities. It is overlooking the Nile and the Elephantine Island and the beautiful landscape of Aswan.

The New Cataract Aswan is located at a distance of 2 km. from the train station, 1 km., from the city centre and 20 km. From the Aswan Airport, this makes the hotel the best choice for business and leisure travelers

The Hotel is a modern high size building consisting of   8 stories   containing 144 well equipped standard guest rooms, having an enjoyable and comfortable atmosphere, with nice balconies overlooking the Nile

Restaurant
The New Cataract Hotel, offers meals in diversified restaurants:
