Old Jazz Band moves from Peace Hotel to the Hua Ting Hotel & Towers

The well-known Old Jazz Band moves from the Peace Hotel to the Hua Ting Hotel & Towers on the 13rd of June 2007.

The Peace Hotel Old Jazz Band, founded in 1980s,consists of six veteran musicians, and is one of the most famous jazz bands in Shanghai. During their high seniority of performance, the Band has developed a unique jazz style of its own, specializing in European and American Jazz Music of the 1930’s and 1940’s, and have a repertoire of more than 500 pieces.

To warmly welcome the grand move of the Old Jazz Band, the Hua Ting hotel has established the Old Jazz Bar on its third Floor. The style of the Old Jazz Bar imitates the original Jazz Bar in the Peace Hotel, with the décor from the original Jazz Bar, The overall management team are from the Peace Hotel, ensuring a Shanghai tradition and legend lives on.
