DAY
1
Pick up from hotel lobby in Brunei and transfer to Sungai Tujuh Border,
after stamping your passport, you will be transfered by a Malaysian vehicle
to Miri Airport. Depart on the mid-morning (or morning) flight from Miri
to Mulu. On arrival in Mulu, you will be transfered to the luxurious
Royal Mulu Resort for check-in. You have some time to stroll around the
resort compounds located within the jungle settings or have a swim in
the resort pool (own lunch arrangement). At 1400 hrs, we will start off
with the first part of our visit to the Deer & Lang caves. Journey by
open air longboats will be around 25 minutes (depending on water level)
where we will arrive at the Mulu National Park for registration and then
continue on the comfortable 3 km plank walk through the jungle to arrive
at the Caves. Await exit of the bats and return to the resort late evening.
DAY 2
Have breakfast in the Wildflower coffeehouse and we will continue with
our cave tour to the Wind & Clearwater caves. Travel upriver in longboat
will be around 30 minutes to arrive at the Wind Cave first and then proceed
on the walkway flanking the limestone cliff to reach the Clearwater Caves.
Picnic lunch is served at the Clearwater rest house. You may want to
take a dip in the very cool Clearwater spring before going back. On the
way down river, we will make a stop at the semi - nomadic Pedan settlement
where there are some nice handicraft made by this tribe. We will return
to the resort late afternoon, for you to relax or participate in the
resort's various recreational activities such as kayaking, mountain biking,
rock climbing, and fishing. Or relax by the pool. Overnight.
DAY 3
Breakfast and free till the departure from Mulu to Miri. Upon arrival,
there will be a meet and great service for you and transfered to Brunei. |
