Merimbun is the Largest black water lake in Brunei gazette as the only ASEAN
National Heritage site in Brunei. It covers some 7800 hectares. It consists
of 2 lakes approximately 100 hectares to 120 hectares respectively. An excellent
get away for nature enthusiasts, its about a 2 hour drive from the capital.
This is a full board package which includes a night boatride nocturnal animals
of crocodiles, a jungle walk that will learn about the local names for the
flora and fauna and if you are lucky enough, see wild animals and visiting
the exhibition hall. Its is also a historical site where Dusun tribes have
been around for 500 years. Includes 2L / 1D / 1B, one night accommodation,
