Casual dining in generous surroundings is brightened with natural sunshine and views of the turquoise blue waters of the Arabian Gulf. Even more opulent, the extravagant buffets offer a blend of Continental, Arabic and Far Eastern cuisine, whilst the a la carte menu provides limitless choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Nirvana

The very name conjures up images of maharajas who knew the secrets of spectacular dining. Nirvana brings royal flavors to The Ritz-Carlton for a dining adventure rarely enjoyed outside of India. Chef de Cuisine Mahipal Singh creates a selection of these Indian recipes a virtual firework display for the palate like 'Manshari kebabs – made of minced meat, lamb or chicken, Shakahari kebabs for our vegetarian guests and Samudri Khazana, which includes a generous platter of succulent grilled seafood including local fish Hamour, shrimps and lobster. Accompanied by live music of the 'Santoor' & 'Tabla' and décor that is unsurpassed on the island. Dine like a Maharaja at Nirvana!

When Plums restaurant opened its doors at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa it did so with the simple belief that classic food, well delivered in a stylish environment is a recipe for success. Everyone who visits Plums notices the bustling, relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which makes each visit so enjoyable. The unpretentious contemporary environment is somewhere you can take time out to sit, chat, eat, drink and enjoy the interior of the restaurant, which is bright and vibrant with a modern art-deco feel. Plums combines refined dining with innovative cuisine. With the specialty being premium beef and fresh, top quality seafood, it provides guests with the ultimate in dining pleasure as perceived for decades! As paint colors bring vibrancy to the room, an array of flavorful and diverse sauces brings excitement to prime steaks.

Chef Jeffry Rocha uses fresh regional ingredients, and to accent the menu, a simple addition of plums cooked in a variety of fashions as a component of the restaurant's signature dishes. The open exhibition kitchen invites diners to witness the magic of the restaurant's chefs and culinary team as they fan the flames that gently caress the flavors into the finest meats, poultry and fish creating masterpieces of contemporary cuisine. The design of the restaurant is a harmony of modern design, furnishings, original art, table settings and culinary style merging in world-class dining venture.

The sleek, comfortable contemporary décor incorporates a private dining room with dramatic pieces of art in black and white. Plums, designed to be cosmopolitan and inviting, is a Bahrain hot. Primavera

Primavera, the ever popular Italian restaurant offers a very exciting menu. The style reflects a growing trend towards Italian food as 'Leggero" meaning light, tasty, stylish and global – far removed from the rich sauces and heavy pastas of tradition. Choose form a wide selection of appetizers such as 'Fegato d'oca con rucola e pinoli' (pan fried escalope of goose liver) and 'filetto di cernia' (hamour fillet stuffed with mushrooms). The menu us quintessentially Italian, but the ingredients belie an original twist. Primavera overlooks the wide landscaped gardens of the resort and at night the views of the Manama skylines are breathtaking. Overlook Cafe


The perfect place to relax by the water and enjoy a variety of light lunch items, refreshments, beverages and cocktails with a tropical flair. Under the direction of Chef David Mitford, Overlook Cafe offers beach and poolside service. The menu features fresh seafood, salads, sandwiches, light appetizers, tropical smoothies, a children's menu, and the Chef's Specialties. Hours of opening: 9:00am to 7:30pm daily.

Burlington Club

Today's dedicated followers of fashion have not only changed their profile, but also the line-up of venues they frequent. The Burlington Club at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa is intimate, comfortable and stylish.  With leather sofas and winged chairs, it recreates a typical 'gentleman's club' although one where ladies are naturally, very much welcomed. The Cigar Room epitomizes the very spirit of Ritz-Carlton graciousness with a cigar menu that has been created especially to complement the tastes of aficionados who will find the humidor stocked with some of the finest Havana cigars. 
Essentially, cigar smoking has an up-town, upscale image, which is why The Ritz-Carlton has a dedicated cigar lounge with a cellar of premium malts, cognacs and vintage wines; arguably the most extensive in the country. Burlington's boasts a freestanding humidor stocked with premium cigars and a panoramic view of the magnificent gardens.

Oversized sofas and exquisite melodies from a classical trio provide the perfect environment in which to relax over a world-famous Ritz-Carlton afternoon tea. 
The traditional high tea is served daily in the Lobby Lounge and boasts all the luxurious delicacies that you would expect! 

Smoked salmon and cucumber finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones with Devonshire clotted cream and jam, and a selection of pastries are served with a choice of over twenty different types of tea. Classical music accompaniment is performed every day by a pianist in the morning and a trio from 4pm, and an enormous variety of 20 different teas maybe selected from the menu for a true "high tea" experience. A Devonshire, Light or Ladies Tea may also be coupled with a glass of champagne; otherwise known as a Royal Tea.

Surrounded by pastel shades and soothing music, our chefs enliven and tantalize your taste buds with an array of selections, from freshly squeezed juices to light appetizers; hearty sandwiches to low calorie desserts.  Indulge while basking in the sunshine outside on the terrace.
