Shipley's is named after John Shipley, who owned the coffee and spice mill located on the site last century. JB's Bar & Grill was originally a woolstore built more than a century ago by a local merchant, John Bridge. JB's has local and imported beers on tap and features wines from the famous Hunter Valley region, just north of Sydney. JB's Bar & Grill is also famous for its sizzling Stonegrill steaks and cooling ales.
